U.S. weather forecaster sees increasing chances of La Niña
A U.S. government weather forecaster said on Thursday it was on La Niña watch and there was an increasing chance of that weather pattern during the Northern Hemisphere fall and winter 2017-18.
The chances of a La Niña weather pattern are about 55-60 percent, the National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center said in a monthly forecast.
