Man arrested in Shoreham by Sea in connection with Manchester Arena attack
Manchester police announced that it has arrested a 23-year-old man, in connection with the Manchester Arena attack.
Manchester Police said it has arrested a 23-year-old man, in relation with the Manchester Arena attack. The arrest was carried out in Shoreham by Sea, Sussex.
Law officers also announced that a scene remains in place at the address were the suspect was arrested.
The Manchester Police made no further references about the arrest.
Other searches are underway in Whalley Range area of Manchester and Chester, Cheshire.
So far, 16 people have been detained in connection with the Manchester Arena attack, according to the Manchester Police. Two have been released without charges but 14 are still held in custody, for questioning.
Manchester Police announced that searchers are still going on in 14 locations and 17 warrants have been carried out in the Great Manchester are, following the attack.
Law officers also made public a new image with the attacker, two days ago. Firearms officers have been deployed in the Great Manchester area to help with the proceedings.
