Former White House photographer trolls Trump over awkward body language and Pope meeting
New Instagram posts from former White House official photographer Pete Souza allow for a strange juxtaposition between the present and the former first couple’s body language. A picture of Obama meeting the Pope also seems to shine a new light on Trump’s encounter with the Pope.
Since leaving his post at the White House, the former official photographer has delighted his followers on social media with pictures taken during Obama’s presidency.
Candid photographs of Barack and Michelle Obama, together with never before seen pictures of the presidential couple have become viral and Peter Souza seems to be using his Instagram account to diplomatically point out the differences between the former and the present White House occupants.

A new series of posts seem to directly target Donald Trump’s foreign visit, more specifically, the highly talked about instances when Melania Trump rejected holding her husband’s had.
On two separate occasions, first in Israel and then in Italy, the First Lady seemed to swat away her husband’s hand though the first couple was later photographed holding hands while visiting the Sistine Chapel.
As the media reported that the presidential couple was going through some turbulence, Pete Souza posted a picture of Barack Obama and Michell holding hands at an event in Selma, Alabama. The caption of the photo said “holding hands”, maybe in an effort to show the new president how it is properly done.
The media also reported that Donald Trump and the Pope have had their share of disagreements and that the cheerful Pontiff looked rather concerned in his pictures with the smiling U.S. President.

In response to that, the former White House photographer posted a picture of Obama and the Pope during his visit to Washington. The caption was also suggestive stating only “mutual admiration”.
It seems that the former White House photographer is trolling Trump, pointing out the behavior and the good diplomatic ties of the former president, and his social media followers seem to appreciate the trip down memory’s lane.
Peter Souza also posted photographs with Barack Obama during his visits to the same countries as president Trump.
