Emmanuel Macron will meet Vladimir Putin on May 29

French President Emmanuel Macron will receive Russia’s Vladimir Putin at the palace of Versailles outside Paris on May 29 to inaugurate an exhibition marking 300 years of Franco-Russian diplomatic ties, a French presidency official said on Monday.

UPDATE: Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron will discuss Ukraine, Syria and “efforts to combat terrorism” at a meeting on May 29 in Paris, the Kremlin said in statement on Monday.


Putin and Macron had a phone call last week to discuss regional crises in Ukraine and Syria.
