Trump’s Russia u-turn
For months President Donald Trump has denied the Russia investigation as nothing but a Democrat hoax against his own administration, but he took to Twitter yesterday to change his position on the scandal.
Donald Trump has been the President of the United States for six months now, but his entire time in office has been marred by one scandal or another, primarily the investigation into Russia’s involvement in hacking the US elections that resulted in his presidency.
Throughout the investigation, Trump has time and again denied any claims of Russian involvement with his campaign and said that the entire investigation has been bought about by the Democrats as an excuse and a smokescreen for Hillary Clinton loosing the election. Now he appears to have changed his mind.
Trump has become renowned for using Twitter to both promote his campaign and to attack his opponents, and last night he performed a complete U-turn on his opinion on the Russia Investigation.
Since the Obama Administration was told way before the 2016 Election that the Russians were meddling, why no action? Focus on them, not T!

Obama Administration official said they “choked” when it came to acting on Russian meddling of election. They didn’t want to hurt Hillary?

It would appear from these Tweets that the President has, in fact, changed his mind about the Russia Investigation, no longer believing it to be a hoax, but instead trying to lay the blame on Obama’s administration for not preventing the hacking to take place.
Of course, this is by no way an admission from the President about his personal or his campaign’s involvement in the scandal, but it appears that the President is at least admitting that the election results were rigged. Time will tell if Trump will release any further admissions or U-Turns, but it’s likely we’ll find out just by keeping an eye on social media.
