Top countries with the best postal services in the world. Where does your country stand?
Switzerland came out as the country with the best postal service in the world, according to a recent report published by the Universal Postal Union. At the opposite end is the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe.
Switzerland is the country whose postal service is at the highest level regarding reliability, relevance, flexibility and diversity of offers for customers.
Moreover, the Swiss postal service started testing parcel delivery using drones in 2015. Last year, Siss Post also started testing deliveries with the help of robots that have an autonomous navigation system. These can carry goods of up to ten kilograms, at a distance of around six kilometers.
On the other hand, China came out over Switzerland regarding a single aspect: worldwide coverage area, according to the aforementioned report.
The second position in the ranking with the best postal services is taken by France, followed by Japan.
While the high score obtained by France is mainly due to the expansion of postal services in several areas of activity, Japan was much appreciated due to its logistical organiozations. Great Britain came sixth.

Regarding the best postal services in the European Union, the top ten positions are occupied by Sweden (no 1), France, The Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Finland and Estonia (no 10).
