William, Kate and Harry make donation to help victims of Grenfell Tower fire
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have made a donation to help the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. The Royal Family urged others to follow suit.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry made a donation to the Evening Standard’s emergency appeal for the Dispossessed Fund, the paper said after it published a statement coming from the Royal Family.
The Royal family also urged others to follow suit and to make generous contributions in order to help those affected by the tragedy.
Reports on social media show that the community reacted promptly with people donating clothes, food and toiletry items and some even offering accommodation for those that lost their homes to the fire.
Appeals are constantly made in order to provide help for the victims as operations at the Tower are still ongoing and the authorities expect the death toll to rise as firefighters continue their search.
