UK PM May’s lead widens to 12 points on eve of election

British Prime Minister’s party is ahead 12 points in the polls on the eve of the election. 

The lead of Prime Minister Theresa May’s Conservative Party over the opposition Labour Party has widened to 12 percentage points, according to an ICM poll published in the Guardian newspaper on Wednesday, a day before Britain’s national election.

The Conservatives’ lead increased from 11 percentage points in the previous ICM/Guardian poll published on June 5.

ICM said it now put support for the Conservatives at 46 percent, up one percentage point from the previous poll, and Labour was unchanged on 34 percent.
