Britain’s parliament was being evacuated on Monday after a fire alarm was sounded, a Reuters witness said.
UPDATE: The London Fire Brigade confirmed they have not been called to a fire alarm sounding at the Parliament.
We can confirm that we have not been called to a fire alarm sounding at the Houses of Parliament. Should that change we'll tweet an update.

The Reuters reporter, who works in Parliament, had no further information on whether was a fire of not. The London fire service could not immediately comment.
The Palace of Westminster includes the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
