An American MV-22 Helicopter was on its way back from Australia when it crashed of the east coast of Australia.
According to reports an American MC-22 osprey, helicopter crashed on Saturday afternoon with Three marines on board.
US forces were in Australia for Talisman Saber , a combat readiness training involving 33,000 US and Australian troops which was expected to end in late July the incident happened when the helicopter attempted to land on the ‘ USS Ronald Reagan’.

Currently the search is underway with boats , helicopters and warships for the missing Marines.
The U.S. Marine corps in a statement said ” There is an active search and rescue operation ongoing for service member involved in an Mv-22 crash off the east cost of Australia.”
There was no Australian on board , In a statement federal Defence minister confirmed that no Australian defence personal were on the board when the aircraft crashes. ” I have been advised of an incident involving a United states Marine Crops MV-22 osprey helicopter off the coast of shoalwater Bay today. our thoughts are with the crew and the families affected.”
Mv-22s osprey helicopters have been involved in many mishaps , in January 2017 a MV-22 had a hard landing during an operation in Yemen.
