Futuristic sports centre in The Netherlands has an amazing facade
This brand new design for a sports centre in The Netherlands turned out to be a truly remarkable project with an amazing facade.
Moederscheim Moonen Architects designed Feynoord Training Complex as a new landmark for the city of Rotterdam, and they envisioned a facade that is made of weathered steel.
The complex will house several medical and wellness facilities, as well as hospitality spaces, an auditorium and changing room for the players. It also includes two football pitches, with the rear facade of the building offering privacy while allowing as much transparency and interaction as possible between the field and the building.
The complex is part of a larger masterplan in the city.
