- Stay hydrated. It is the key because it brings your body at ease to make more milk. Keep an alarm or app handy that reminds you to drink water after every hour.
- Avoid stress. It is the central factor that affects new mothers psychologically and physiologically. Happier the mother is, more the milk she will produce.
- Help and Care. Don’t be afraid to ask for help in times of need from family and friends. Don’t overwhelm yourself with domestic or professional work and stress.
- Say no to bottles or pacifiers. It is a preventive measure to not familiarize newborns to bottles or pacifiers until s/he stops breastfeeding entirely, else the kid will simply stop drinking your milk. This is not good for his/her health, at all. Remember, the more you breastfeed, the more milk your body produces.
