This woman lost half her body weight by changing one thing in her diet
Single mother and café worker Siobhan Thornton was not happy with her weight after giving birth to her daughter and breaking up with her partner. However, she found a cheap and cheerful addition to her diet that changed her perspective.
Living on junk food, Thornton was struggling to get into a size 22, after previously being a size 16 and was on the verge of becoming diabetic. Then she started drinking at least two cups of green tea a day and said that this helped her lose more than eight stone.
“I used to avoid looking at myself – now my confidence is through the roof and I’ve halved my BMI,” Thornton told the Mirror. “I am certain that I lost the first three stone through drinking green tea alone. My metabolism just went through the roof and I hadn’t done much else.”
The woman mentioned she wasn’t doing any more exercise than normal, adding that green tea is underrated and affordable, according to the Independent. She went from 17 stone to 9 stone. Furthermore, she goes to the gym three times a week.
