VIDEO: Woman Says CCTV Footage Proves She Was Woken Up by Ghosts
People are weird creatures. They are afraid of a lot of different things, but this doesn’t make them avoid those things. Instead, people search for the things they are afraid of and stare at them, get terrified and wait for days on end to be able to sleep again.
This goes for those that watch horror movies and for those that search for proof of the existence of ghosts and want to see everything that says it involves ghosts, hauntings or anything that’s just really creepy.
This is why so many people try really hard to create fake ghosts and elaborate stories about places so that they can make some money on the back of the beliefs of the scared people.
According to usareturn.com, a woman from Chicago, Iris Alamo, set up a webcam to catch proof of the paranormal activity haunting her home. “Took almost a year but finally caught something on video,” she posted on Facebook.
“This is probably why I can’t sleep at night.” While she is sleeping, her door slowly creeps open, and the covers of her bed are pulled back, waking the woman up. Crashing noises commence as she tries to fumble around for the light switch, which goes on and off again.
Another eerie thing about the video: the orb. If you know anything about spirits, you’ll know they often come in the form of a translucent orb seen in pictures or videos. If you’re a believer in ghosts, this video isn’t hard to believe either.
It looks just like the sort of thing that will make believers freak out and start hearing and seeing things in their own houses as well and wake up frightened.
However, if you’re a little skeptical, you’re not the only one and there are many other people that aren’t ready to take things just as they are and they want to break down the whole thing and analyze it.
They have taken into account everything that seems just a bit off and have paused the video over and over again to see everything in detail.
Several people online have called the video a hoax. They say they can see fishing wire on the top right corner of the screen, which would explain the opening door. Others point out that it looks like her right leg is pulling the covers off, not a ghost.
What do you think: is it real or fake? I’m hoping fake, because that seems like one horrifying way to wake up and no one should have to deal with this and then have to go to work.
YouTube clips of alleged ghosts prove to be really popular, but the latest addition to the genre was greeted with appropriate skepticism by one viewer using the screen name Question Everything who wrote about this video just this: ‘Horrible acting’.
There are other commentators that have more elaborate things to say but most of them are just insults for the girl that wasted their time, the time in which they could have seen real ghosts.
