VIDEO: Soldier Brother Surprises Sister and It’s Adorable

Whenever someone has to leave to serve his country and is stationed in a different country everyone is heartbroken. While everyone understands the necessity of the person’s leaving it doesn’t mean that they are less sad to see them go.

While going to fight is scary and horrible for those that are in the military, everything is much worse for those that are left behind at home wondering if you will be coming home alive and well.

Even if you have been coming and going for a long time, they never get used to missing you and they never stop worrying, even when you are somewhere where nothing can happen.

While seeing you leave makes everyone very sad and it’s hard to control their emotions, the same thing happens when you return. Your family, friends and loved ones, including your pets, will all be overcome with emotion upon your arrival and will hope that you never leave again or that you stay home as much as possible.

There are many videos on the internet with soldiers coming home and being greeted by their families, but it’s the videos that catch a spontaneous reaction to it that are the best out of all of them.

According to dailymail.co.uk, this is the emotional moment that a soldier returns home for the first time in three years to surprise his beloved sister. The girl had no idea that her brother was coming home.

After three long years stationed in Italy, soldier Shane Rader, from Gilbert, Arizona, USA, is about to return home for the first time to surprise his sister Elizabeth.

Upon walking through the front door, the family dog is the first to recognize Shane, but his barks aren’t enough to startle Elizabeth, who continues watching TV completely unaware her brother stands only a few feet away.

When she finally spots Shane, the teenager gasps in disbelief before crying out his name in excitement, leaping up and locking her arms and legs around him.

Older brother John, who planned the surprise reveal, said: ‘I loved Elizabeth’s reaction, you can tell just how excited and overcome with emotion she was.

‘Both my family and I all cried at the reaction, it was such a lovely moment to witness.

‘They’ve always been very close ever-since they were small, so Shane being away has been very hard for her.’

The reunited pair stay locked in the embrace for several moments, remaining completely silent as they stand stunned by emotion.
Elizabeth’s elation soon turns to anger as she finds out that her brother has been home for three days without telling her, but all is quickly forgotten with another hug.

John said: ‘It’s so nice to be able to all hang out together again.
‘The video still makes everyone teary-eyed to watch, even now.

They seem like a wonderful family and look like they all love each other very much. We hope that they will always have the same feelings for each other and that they are always there for one another.
