When you are engaged and are getting ready to get married in a couple of days you probably imagine yourself next to that person for the rest of your life. You are happy and feel complete and nothing could ruin your happiness, not even the worst wedding possible.

Or so you would think. But when your fiance suddenly leaves right before the wedding you feel as if you would never be happy again.

According to viral4real.com, every woman dreams of finally building a strong bond with their partners in the most anticipated event in their lives—marriage. Some women even save up for this event, as it is bound to change their lives forever.

While many women are successful in meeting their lifetime partners and marrying them at that, there are women who fail at meeting the right person, and end up heartbroken. This woman from Changchun, Jilin province in China, was dumped by her fiancée a few days before they were supposed to marry.

According to reports, the woman was in a relationship with her boyfriend for more than four years, and were supposed to wed a few days prior to her attempted suicide. The man dumped and left her for unknown reasons, which prompted her to take her own life instead.

Luckily, a community officer by the name of Guo Zhong Fan was at the scene and saved her from the deadly fall. As he tried to save her, other rescuers put an inflated soft landing surface just in case Zhong Fan wasn’t successful.

He held one arm around the woman’s neck and another round her shoulders before managing to pull her to safety. As the dramatic episode unfolded, hundreds had crowded in the street next to the building watching the drama unfold.

It was reported the woman’s rescuer then carried her downstairs where he was met by a retired army officer who told him: ‘You must’ve been a soldier before, thank you, you’re a great man!’

The woman herself suffered no major injuries and was driven away in an ambulance. Physically she is just fine, it’s her spirit that was broken. But that will heal too, in time.

Suicide seems the easy way out when you are in such an amount of pain because you were let by the person you loved most in the world without any notice or reason and just before the wedding which all your friends and family would have attended.

She probably had to deal with explaining to everyone what had happened without knowing herself all too well. She had to cancel the entire wedding and deal with everything by herself. She is probably also in debt now and happiness seems impossible at this moment. But things will get better and she will get out of this a better and stronger person.

She will be happy that that man was there to save her from doing a horrible mistake and she will cherish life even more because of it.
