VIDEO: Little Girl Felt Something in Her Ear. When the Doctor Looked Inside OMG!

While people don’t generally love insects, they don’t really hate them much either. Actually, people don’t really notice their presence unless they are bugging them. If we’re not talking about spiders or mosquitoes this rarely happens. But one family had a serious bug problem involving ants. It was not that they left food out and the ants got it. Their little girl had an ant infestation in one of her ears.
According to dailymail.co.uk, an Indian girl who had more than a thousand ants removed from her ears with ten emerging every day is celebrating after the infestation finally dried up.
Shreya Darji, from Deesa, in Gujarat, western India, was blighted by the insects after doctors found them nesting in her drum canal.
Experts said they tried everything to extract the ants and were pulling hundreds of them out of the 12-year-old’s ear at the peak of the problem.
But six months later, the youngster is now living a normal life once again after the creatures mysteriously disappeared.
Her father, who had consulted a series of doctors, believes divine intervention helped to solved the problem.
Sanjay Darji, 40, who runs a small television repair business, told the Times of India: ‘I think it is the grace of our deity which helped my little daughter.’
His relieved daughter added: ‘Earlier, it was painful being a kid who has ears infested with ants, but now I can have all the fun.
‘The big ants used to crawl out of my ears without warning, whether I was at school or playing with friends. The ants made my life so difficult. It also scared my friends to see ants crawling out of my ears.”
Shreya’s problem first started as an irritation in her ear in August last year, and when she visited her local hospital, doctors found the ants inside her ear canal.
A video filmed with an endoscopic camera showed a doctor removing what appears to be dead ants from her ear.
At the time, her desperate parents said they had tried everything, from traditional medical aids to witch doctors, but the ants keep emerging from her ears.
And Dr Jawahar Talsania, 58, senior Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon, in Gujarat, said: ‘We have conducted all possible scans on the child including an MRI and CT scan but they are all normal. We cannot find any abnormality in her ears.
She doesn’t experience any kind of pain – despite the ants biting her – and no damage has been found to the eardrums.
‘The family live a normal life and they have a healthy environment so we can’t even blame their living conditions. We’ve not seen anything like this in our medical history.’
Dr Jawahar explained that he had even tried suffocate the ants with drops but they continued to breed.
‘We don’t believe the ants are laying eggs inside the ear as we’ve not spotted a queen ant inside. We are completely perplexed,’ he said, adding he has already used a camera inside the ear to check for an egg chamber.
