VIDEO: Blind Teen Brings Judge to Tears
Born with glaucoma, Barnard completely lost his sight at the age of five, but he never let that stand in the way of his dreams. He went on to pursue his passion for singing and auditioned for the “The Voice: South Africa”. Three of the judges turned around for him when hearing his rendition of “Story of My Life” by One Direction. When Bobby van Jaarsveld, one of the judges, realized the boy could not see, he broke down in tears.
