VIDEO: This Pregnant Woman Loses Her House in a Fire. But Firefighters Give her Something…

Nicola was about eight and a half months pregnant with her baby girl when a fire started and burnt everything she had. She was sleeping when the fire started, but she was lucky enough to feel the smell and woke up. The fire department was announced immediately and the firefighters came to stop that burning Hell. Luckily, she and her unborn child were not injured.
It’s not easy to be pregnant, especially if you’re a single woman and don’t really make a lot of money. It’s even worse when you’ve lost a pregnancy before and you’re scared that you could lose this one too. Just weeks before her due date, Nicola Taylor found herself in a horrible situation. Due to an electrical problem, her apartment caught on fire. She got out in time, but everything was ruined, including all the gifts she had received from her friends for the baby at the baby shower that took place days before.
She said for lifedaily.com: “I was blindsided. Getting out was my main goal at the time. The smoke was heavy and black. I couldn’t see what was going on”. Nicola was napping when the fire started. But they were fortunate and both her and her family could get out in time from the apartment. But all they had was the clothes on their back. The fire department spokesman Captain Jerry Gonzalez explained that “The apartment was completely gutted down to the concrete”.
The firefighters that arrived at the scene to try and salvage the building saw that everything was ruined but they took pity on the poor pregnant woman and decided to do anything in their power to help her since she was left without nothing with literally weeks until her due date.
According to nbcmiami.com the Lauderhill firefighters are asking for donations to help the woman and her unborn child after the mom-to-be lost everything in Monday’s fire. She’s been staying at a motel in Plantation that was provided by the Red Cross, but as of Thursday, the assistance will end and the soon-to-be mother and her family will have nowhere to go.

The 30-year-old is due to give birth in just three weeks and Lauderhill firefighters are trying to quickly get her back on her feet. They set up a Go Fund Me account with a $10,000 goal. In just three hours, the Go Fund Me page raised $1,300.
Int the same apartment with her, which unfortunately didn’t have any renter’s insurance, lived her father, her cousin and her two-year-old niece. Since they don’t make a lot of money their only chance to survive and lead a decent life is for the people to come together and help them with as much money as they possibly can.
It’s all in the hands of God and the kindness of people to make sure that these people are going to be OK. We hope that everything goes right from now on and that the woman gives birth to a healthy baby.
