VIDEO: His Wife Dies, but Then Something Happens to Husband’s Hand!

We all know Noah and Allie’s story from The Notebook. This couple’s love story is very similar to the main characters, as you are about to see. Teresa and Issac spent 69 years as a happily married couple. At elders, they ended up in the hospital with different conditions. Doctors put their hospital beds side-by-side, as Issac wanted. They were holding hands when Teresa died. Immediately after their hands separated, Issac’s chest went flat, and he left this world, next to his beloved wife. This is too emotional!
A couple from Chicago was married for an incredible 69 years and has been dubbed the ‘Notebook’ couple after they died holding hands and mere minutes apart.
For those that do not remember the love story from the Notebook, although it is one of the most well-known love stories of our time, it goes as simple as this: they fall in love when they are young and they go through thick and thin and fight for their love. She gets dementia but he helps her through it and they die together, side by side.
Well, this is exactly how it goes for Teresa and Issac, although a bit more real, their love story is so similar that people have begun calling them the Notebook couple. They met when they were young and got married and they have been married for 69 years and had three beautiful children.
They were both admitted to a hospital from Chicago because he had inhfluenza and she had a bout of pneumonia as well as dementia for the past ten years. At the age of 89 Teresa died. Right by her side was 91-year-old Isaac who said his last words and died just after his wife.
The couple’s three children have decided to shed some light on their parents’ death.
According thatslife.com.au, their daughter Clara Gesklin revealed it was when they separated their parents fingers, 91-year-old Isaac stopped breathing.
“I saw it with my own eyes,” she said. “All of a sudden, when their fingers separated, he just stopped breathing.” Their son Daniel remembered his father’s final words: “I’m done protecting her. I can go and rest as well,” he said.
“They stuck together through thick and thin and they taught us what it means to be a loving [spouse] and how to love and say forget and forgive and move on,” he added.
At the couple’s joint funeral, Clasklin said her parents’ “love for each other was so strong they simply could not live without each other”.
The couple, who were originally from Argentina, married in 1947 and are survived by three children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
They really managed to teach us a lesson about the meaning of true love and how you should fight for your loved one and be with each other until the very end, taking care of them. This is probably one of the most wonderful real-life love stories that we have ever heard and the fact that it is real only makes us have faith in God more that we too could find such love.
