VIDEO: Canadian Orphaned Baby Cougar Made It To America
In the summer of 2009, a little baby cougar was found abandoned and was brought into care by Critter Care Wildlife in British Columbia, Canada. They named him Andre. When The Wildcat Sanctuary heard his story, Andre was packed up and shipped off to a new life in America. He was put into an enclosure next to Donoma, another wild-born cougar, and they quickly became friends. The two cougars were then introduced to three additional cougars to live together, as a blended family. Nearly eight years later, all five of them continue to get along, proving that not every pack is defined by blood.
