After months of waiting, Daisy finally went into labor, seven days past her expected due date. Within a few hours, she’d given birth to a beautiful and – even though kind of small for the mother’s size – healthy foal. Just when they were thinking they expecting a larger foal, Jenni Benson and her husband Guy noticed that Daisy wasn’t done. The second baby was born healthy as well, a miracle considering that the odds of both fetuses surviving to birth are low.
