VIDEO: 45 People Saved From Tornado By The Grace Of God
About 45 people were celebrating a high school graduation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Emory, Texas on Saturday night, when they started receiving information and warnings about tornadoes nearby. The group gathered in the hallway between parish hall and the main part of the church to seek shelter from the storm. The doors at the end of the hallway had a few small windows through which they watched the tornado rip apart their worship room, but everyone remained calm and kept praying. After the tornado had passed, both ends of the building were blown out, the church was torn apart. The congregation still gathered together on Sunday morning for a service in the parking lot of the church to thank God for His mercy.
