Land Rover introduced the latest version of the Range Rover SVAutobiography in India this year. Compared to its predecessors, this one takes the SUV game to a different level.

Excellent on and off-road, it is ideal as an adventure car as well as a family one.

With a strong chassis and a ground clearance of 11.6 inches, the SUV comes with an automatic eight-speed transmission gearbox and a 4.4-litre LR-SDV8 diesel engine that produces 339hp at 2000rpm and 740Nm of torque.

It boasts of a maximum speed of 218 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds. It has British-style interiors with quilted seats and leather trimmings.

Maserati Quattroporte Diesel 2016

After the successful launch of the Quattroporte in 2013, Maserati has now introduced its 2016 version.

Great as an everyday car, the new Quattroporte looks sporty, thanks to its aggressive-looking front grille, while still qualifying as elegant with ample leg room and briarwood finish and Italian leather accents on the interior.

Jaguar F-Pace 2016

On the 20th of this month, Jaguar will launch its first performance SUV in India, the F-Pace, as a diesel variant only.

Buyers can pick between a 2.0-litre Ingenium and a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine model.

The Ingenium, Jaguar’s new breed of engines that has been designed for performance and efficiency, offers 132kW of power at 4000rpm and 430Nm of torque.

It achieves a maximum speed of 208km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 8.7 seconds.

The V6, on the other hand, attains a top speed of 241km/h producing 296bhp at 4000rpm and 700Nm of torque. It races from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.2 seconds.

The car comes fitted with eight-speed automatic transmission. On the exterior, the SUV is visually inspired by the Jaguar F-TYPE.

The interiors are equally impressive with a panoramic roof, extra legroom in the rear seating area and optional configurable interior mood lighting.

BMW 7 Series 2016

The World Car Awards recently declared BMW’s 7 Series the World Luxury Car of 2016.

A facelift version of the original 7 series, this sedan, unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, is sturdy and fuel efficient, thanks to its 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine with twin-power turbocharger.

The engine, equipped with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, offers 195kW of power at 4000rpm and 2500 Nm of torque with a maximum speed of 250km/h.

Audi A8 L 2016

One of the few cars in India that meets the Class VR 9 ballistic protection standards is the Audi A8 L, which is the 2016 version of the popular 2010 model from the brand.

Ideal for UHNIs, it is the most secure sedan in its range. It is powered by 3.0-litre V6 Turbo diesel engine that offers a great speed and smooth handling.

The engine offers 384PS of power at 3750rpm with 209km/h highest speed and eight-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

The exterior of the car retains the classy DNA of Audi sedans, while the interiors have Limousine-like dimensions, with the widest front and rear leg room space compared to other standard sedans.
