VIDEO: One Tiny Fox Sneaked up on a Security Guard
Animals often look for kindness and a helping hand in humans, sometimes even putting their life in our hands.
Muhammad works as a security guard in the U.K.
He was on duty when a little fox dragged himself up to where he was standing.
Muhammad fed the little fellow and called for rescuers, who took the baby fox to the shelter.
His name is now Finn and he’s doing really well, thanks to a bunch of kind-hearted people.

Muhammad is a security guard in the U.K. He was on duty when a little fox dragged (yes, dragged) himself up to where Muhammad was standing. Muhammad offered the little fox a snack and called for help. When the wildlife rescuers, from the National Fox Welfare Society, arrived, the fox just rolled on his back and didn’t run off.
He needed help, and he found it! The rescuers took the fox to the shelter, named him Finn, and gave him some bread and honey. Finn wolfed down the food! As they examined him, they saw that one of his back legs was badly broken, and he would need surgery.
Finn was happy to wait for his turn in the operating room, he enjoyed chicken with honey and some lovely pain medications! He was given a stuffed bunny to snuggle with too!
At The Avenue Vets – Kettering, Finn looks worried as he heads to surgery with Dr. Adrian O’Shea. Finn’s operation was a success! Doctors believe that Finn had broken his leg a while back and that it was likely the result of poor nutrition, not an accident.
The National Fox Welfare Society said Finn’s mom had probably left him behind because she knew something was wrong
Finn is recovering nicely and making up for lost time by eating all his meals with gusto! He also went a little overboard one day when he ended up eating his bunny!
I bet he gets another stuffed friend soon! Get well soon Finn!
According to Live Science, foxes are very social creatures that live in packs. A group of foxes are called a leash, skulk or earth, according to the U.S. Department of Interior. They are also called packs. No matter what you call them, foxes like to stick near family members. A pack may include older siblings, pups, foxes of breeding age, mates and mothers.
These mammals like to hunt at night and are nocturnal. This means that they sleep during the day. This can change, though, depending on where the fox pack lives. If they live in a place where they feel safe, a fox pack may hunt during the daytime, according to National Parks and Wildlife Service of Ireland.
Foxes have great eyesight. They can see just as well as a cat, in fact. Their eyes are much like a cat’s thanks to their vertically slit pupils.
Foxes are also very fast. They can run up to 45 mph. That is almost as fast as the blackbuck antelope, one of the world’s fastest animals.
