VIDEO: OFW Desperately Cries for Help Because Her Employer Is Trying to Abuse Her

Poor working conditions for Filipino people hired abroad include long hours, low wages and few chances to visit family.
Women often face disadvantages in their employment conditions as they tend to work in the elder/child care and domestic.
Since the number of OFW’s is continuously rising, many women are forced to work doing men’s jobs. Some are forced to work under “bad” employers—including this OFW who sought help online.
Yet another OFW is being abused in Saudi Arabia by an employer who even attempted to rape her.
She appeared on a radio segment that was uploaded by the official YouTube account of Ben Tulfo’s radio program, Ben Tulfo Unfiltered, under the account name BITAG OFFICIAL.
According to the Tulfo brothers, appealed to their program for help after she was sexually assaulted by her employer.
Based on the information gathered from her mother who was present at the show and the video she sent, it was known that her employer would often force kisses on her, show her his manhood, and even attempted to rape her at some point.
Apparently, she tried to ask for help from her agency, but they simply ignored her.
Her mother also appealed to the agency, but was instead asked to shell out money so that her daughter can come home safely.
According to philnews.ph, this is not the first case of this kind.
An OFW has caught the attention of the netizens on social media after she shared how her employer’s brother attempted to rape her.
The report of the incident was aired on TV 5’s Aksyon. The Overseas Filipino Worker was identified as Ermalyn Banayado.
Banayado can be seen on the video sharing her horrible experiences to Raffy Tulfo.
In her interview, Banayado shared that the brother of her employer asked for a glass of water.
While she was in the kitchen she never noticed that he followed her. She was in great shock when she found the man in front of her.
He then offered her an iPhone 7 in exchange for sexual intercourse, but Banayado said she immediately refused to accept the offer.
After she refused, the suspect became angry and beat her. He then attempted to rape her.
Fortunately, Banayado was able to escape and immediately ran away to her room and locked up.
Because of her fear, Banayado tried to reach out the Philippine embassy in Riyadh, but no one came for her.
