Formula rossa is the fastest roller coaster in the world with top speed of 150 miles per hour. This roller coaster is located in Ferrari world of Abhu Dhabi. Formulla rossa accelerate from zero to top speed of 150 miles per hour in just five seconds. Such blazing acceleration is 4.8 times faster than that of free fall.
The formula rossa track is 2.2 kilometers in length and have theme of Italian track Autodromo Nazionale Monza. The ride contains four trains with four passenger cars. Once the ride following the launching pad it ascends 171 feet hill and will reach top speed of 150 miles per hour.

The launching of this roller coaster was originally set for 1996 but it was delayed due to several problems. Later the completely renovated ride opened in 2011 with backward facing trains.
