Ever heard of Chupacabra?

You most definitely have, but you’ve probably never seen footage or pictures of the creature, since it’s kind of an urban legend.

Well, here are some in this video that will creep you out – if not straight terrify you!

According to Top 5s Finest, the Chupacabra, or “goat-sucker” is a legendary dog-like creature that has become famous since the mid 90s. The chupacabra gets its name because they are said to survive off livestock. Rather than eat the meat off their prey, chupacabras live off the blood of goats and sheep, sucking it out of their necks in the middle of the night.

The most common description of the chupacabra is that of a reptile-like creature, said to have leathery or scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back.

First spotted in Puerto Rico, today these greyish, canid-like animals are primarily reported in both North and South America. After the first Chupacabra sighting in March of 1995, over 200 more reports were made that year, and continue to grow to this day.

Some people are convinced that these grim looking creatures are nothing but dogs and bears with mange. Those who claim to have seen a chupacabra with their own two eyes are certain this is an animal like nothing they have ever encountered before.

On September 12, 2014, a chupacabra was spotted running along the shore at Slaughter Beach in Delaware. Origin of this footage remains unknown, but based on the distance, it seems that the camera operator was filming from a hill. Like many chupacabra videos, viewers instantly want to peg this animal as a dog.

If you look more closely at its ears and tail, however, it’s easy to tell that some of its characteristics don’t match typical canine features. Unfortunately, it seems that the camera operator was too far away to get a closer look.

In 2013 a YouTuber by the name of Ross Whitfield was on his way home when he and his wife spotted a bizarre looking animal sniffing around on the ground near some trees. Unable to identify the creature, Ross pulled out his phone and began to record.

Luckily for them, the animal did not seem inclined to attack. The video itself has sparked a lot of comments. Many are convinced that the animal in question is a poor, severely malnourished dogs. Others, however, state that due to the animals elongated ears and hindquarters, they have their doubts.

An unnamed man was driving down the road when he spotted this hairless animal a few blocks from his house. The man decided to follow the animal while filming. While the alleged chupacabra doesn’t seem at all aggressive, it’s clearly wary that a human is so close.

Is this the legendary creature? Or is it just another coyote with mange? Skeptics argue that this animal could not possibly be a chupacabra, as the mythical creatures are said to have lizard-like scales that run along its back. To this we say that animals can evolve based on their environment, and we may never truly know for sure…
