They are great for you, no matter in which form you eat them. But you should use them to their full capacity.

Banana Ice Cream – Take as many bananas as you like, peel them and put them in the freezer for an hour (basically until they freeze).

Once the bananas are out of the freezer, cut them into small pieces and use the blender to blend them, add some water if need be.

Depending upon the ripeness, the taste of the bananas will differ, to modify the taste, you can add extra ingredients such as peanut butter, chocolate chips or honey.

Fruit against flies – So here’s the most awesome trick to get rid of all the fruit flies in your house – take some sliced bananas and some leftover peels of mango, place them in a plastic container and cover the top with a plastic sheet.

Now take a thin and sharp stick to poke the container right at the center and within a few days, the flies will all be trapped in this box that you’ve created. Your fruits will be fly-free and your life will be healthy forever.

Watermelon bowl – Cut the watermelon into half and slice off every bit of watermelon off the peel, leaving behind a neat oval-shaped watermelon bowl. You can use this as a fruit bowl and serve the sliced watermelon along with other fruits in it.

Deseed pomegranates – Cut the pomegranate into two halves and after pushing the center portion out a little bit, whack the backside with a kitchen spoon (preferably a wooden spoon) to deseed it.
