VIDEO: Twins Caught Kissing on Sonogram!

While getting a routine check, parents to be, Carissa Gill and Randy Good, spotted their baby twins kissing on sonogram. What can possibly be more beautiful? It is well known that twins share an incredible relationship even after birth, but we bet on those little ones that share a kiss inside mommy’s tummy to be more than brothers and best friends.

Fun fact – did you know that there are more twins being born today than there were 30 years ago? According to Wikipedia, the human twin birth rate in the United States (and Republic of Ireland according to John Cannon) rose 76% from 1980 through 2009, from 18.9 to 33.3 per 1,000 births (about 80%). The Yoruba have the highest rate of twinning in the world, at 45–50 twin sets (or 90–100 twins) per 1,000 live births possibly because of high consumption of a specific type of yam containing a natural phytoestrogen which may stimulate the ovaries to release an egg from each side.
In Central Africa there are 18–30 twin sets (or 36–60 twins) per 1,000 live births. In Latin America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, the lowest rates are found; only 6 to 9 twin sets per 1,000 live births. North America and Europe have intermediate rates of 9 to 16 twin sets per 1,000 live births.
Women who have a family history of fraternal twins have a higher chance of producing fraternal twins themselves, as there is a genetically linked tendency to hyper-ovulate. There is no known genetic link for identical twinning. Other factors that increase the odds of having fraternal twins include maternal age, fertility drugs and other fertility treatments, nutrition, and prior births.

A couple witnessed the remarkable moment an ultrasound showed their twins snuggled up in their mother’s womb.
Carissa Gill, who is 25 weeks pregnant with twins, visited Fetal Vision Imaging in Pennsylvania, with her boyfriend, Randy, last week.
The parents-to-be were surprised and overjoyed at what they witnessed during the ultrasound when they saw their daughters snuggled close to each other, while appearing to share a kiss.
‘Pregnancy is a beautiful thing to capture, especially when you get to see moments like this,’ Carissa told Fox 29.
Carissa and Randy have already named their identical twin babies, Isabella and Callie.
‘Isabella giving her sissy Callie a kiss on the cheek,’ Carissa wrote in the caption of one of the ultrasound photos.
In another photo, Carissa wrote: ‘It was hard not to be so thankful during this moment. I am legit so blessed and can’t wait to meet our two precious princesses.’
Photos of the adorable twins and the expecting parents first emerged when they were posted on Fetal Vision’s Instagram page.
‘Congratulations Carissa and Randy with your kissing twins! Thank you for coming to Fetal Vision, we hope you enjoyed your experience with us! #FetalVision #KissingTwins #HDUltrasound,’ the company wrote under the photo’s caption.
The company uses new cutting edge 3D ultrasound, 4D ultrasound and HD ultrasound technology ‘to bring images of your baby to life’, according to their website.
Families who visit Fetal Vision can actually see what their baby will look like before he or she, and in this case they, are born.
