VIDEO: Toddler Meets Newborn Brother for the First Time. The most Priceless Reaction
Most parents are afraid that when they have a second baby their first born will act out and be upset that he is no longer the sole focus of their affection and attention.
But this toddler proved everyone wrong when he went straight to the baby and started kissing his head over and over again, happy to meet him.
This is the heart-warming moment a big brother meets his new-born baby sibling for the first time and can’t stop hugging.
When Logan Crahan found out his mum Alexa had finally given birth to baby Liam at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, on Wednesday January 25, he could not wait to meet him.
This is the adorable moment a big brother meets his new-born baby sibling for the first time and is instantly smitten.
When Logan Crahan found out his mum Alexa had finally given birth to baby Liam at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, on Wednesday January 25, he could not wait to meet him.
After an agonising 14 hour wait, the two-year-old sauntered into his mum’s hospital room with a huge grin and his arms wide open saying ‘my baby’.
As soon as Logan was lifted next to his brother he starts hugging Liam’s head and covering his face and arms in kisses, almost to the point of hurting his sibling.
Dad Alex said: “The feeling when you see your two-year-old walk right in and go right for his brother is something I can’t put into words.
“We could not have been happier or more excited when Logan strolled right over and began hugging Liam.
“Before Logan came in, Alexa started crying because she was nervous about how he would react.
“She felt bad as he has always been our little baby and we didn’t want him to be sad or upset with a new baby now in the picture.
“We even took bets on who he would run to first when he walked in and wow were we wrong.” Logan had been excited to meet his new sibling as soon as he found out Alexa was pregnant.
Alex said: “He would every single day hug his mommies belly and point at it and say ‘baby’.
“It’s weird because I have two daughters Savannah, 10, and Hailey, 12, and for whatever reason Logan is obsessed with them. “To see him also have that same passion and love for Liam is something that I don’t think will ever go away.”
More than a week since Liam was born, Logan still cannot get enough of him and ever demands cuddles with him.
Alex said: “Logan will sit on the couch and put the nursing pillow around him himself which is his way of telling us that he wants to hold Liam.
“Of course, we were nervous not knowing what his reaction was going to be when meeting his little brother for the first time.
“We couldn’t have been happier on how it all turned out.
“Logan continues to be an amazing big brother and offering to help us with him whenever he can.”
