The simple question “tell me about yourself” is one that opens many job interviews and can be crucial to how the interview unfolds, as the Independent reports.
When it comes to answering this, Harvard junior Jessica Pointing has some tips. “You should already know the answer off the top of your head,” she told Business Insider. “It’s your elevator pitch. In addition to that, it’s probably going to be the first question asked in the interview. First impressions matter.”
