BBC TV centre homes at White City: new towers part of west London’s £8bn regeneration

The latest phase in the £8 billion transformation that will bring 6,000 new homes and thousands of new jobs to White City is the launch of White City Living, a new 1,465-home community.

It sits beside Television Centre, which is also part of the wider transformation of more than 250 acres. The former BBC headquarters is being reborn with new homes including prized flats in the iconic “doughnut” building, plus offices, studios and a raft of amenities such as a glamorous rooftop pool, Homes and Property reports.

A good part of the 250 acres will become landscaped gardens, with upgraded transport links. The are will have a high profile, more cosmopolitam than its neighbours Notting Hill or Holland Park.

Launched by developer St James, White City Living involves a complex engineering project that aims to create a coveted new address for homes in the middle of a zone corralled by train tracks, the roaring A40 and the West Cross Route.
