VIDEO: Adorable Lizard Wants Only One Thing – Cuddles

When you think of  pets you probably think of dogs and cats and other fluffy things, maybe a fish or a parrot, but that’s about it.

There are only a few people that think of snakes and lizards as pets because these creatures aren’t really the type that you can snuggle up to, pet and really share an emotional connection.

Well, this is true for most of these creatures, but there are some that can make truly wonderful pets. And this video proves that this is true because Manuel is a lizard and he is just the cutest.

According to boredpanda.com, reptiles may not look like your typical ‘cute pet’ material, but this lovely lizard is here to prove that theory wrong.

The savannah monitor named Manuel loves snuggles – his bath time is just “awwe” and he rocks tiny outfits!

“When I saw the conditions in which the lizard was kept by his previous owner, I could not leave him there so I took him,”
Manuel’s owner Astya Lemur told Bored Panda.

“He was very angry and sick but I cared for him, and now he is a healthy and happy lizard!”

“Manuel is able to come to my voice and knows how to ask for food, or a bath,” Lemur explained.

“He loves when I stroke him. Especially behind the ears. He can show whether he likes it or not!

He loves to swim in the bathtub. And dig the dirt in its terrarium. He’s very curious and loves to explore all around.” Isn’t he adorable?

Meet Manuel, the lizard who’ll change the way you see reptiles. He loves snuggling with his human mom Astya Lemur. Just like a cat would!

“Manuel is able to come to my voice and knows how to ask for food, or a bath,” his owner Lemur told Bored Panda.

All he wants is cuddles…a lot of them! He loves to swim in the bathtub. And sleep with his human And be petted.

Besides cuddles, Savannah monitors need special care: “Big terrarium, a lot of heat, dirt for digging, humidity, and proper nutrition,” Lemur explained.

“He’s very curious and loves to explore all around”.
Did we mention that he also rocks tiny outfits? He’s good selfie material, too.

This lizard acts just like a cat and does everything a cat would do, but Manuel is a lot better than a cat. The reason is simple, since it has no fur it doesn’t shed all over the place and cover everything in hair.

He is also extra adorable, and unlike the way cats are, he is always down to cuddle and be petted and every spot on his body works every time. He is just happy to be getting love and attention and doesn’t ever complain about it.

While he is not the most common pet and some might not like him, even those that don’t like lizards would agree that he is quite cute. Would you ever get a lizard if you would find one that’s as lovely as this one?
