Funeral for the Romanian tourist killed in Westminster terror attack
A romanian tourist was thrown into the Thames when a terrorist ploughed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge in March. She was finally buried Saturday, as the Evening Standard reports.
Andreea Cristea, 31, was knocked into the river when Khalid Masood drove into people with his rented car on March 22 and died two weeks later on April 6, when life support was withdrawn.
The young woman was on a short vacation with her boyfriend, Andrei Burnaz, who was planning to propose.

Mourners attended the service on Saturday near the dockyards in Constanta. Around 150 people carrying candles met at the St Mary‘s church wearing badges that contained her photo and a small caption, “Forever in my heart!”. Two heart-shaped wreaths made of white roses adorned her coffin. Teodosie of Tomis, Orthodox Archbishop, headed a phalanx of priests who wafted incense during the ceremony. He described Andreea as “young, beautiful, hard-working and full of love” and said that “a destiny that was about to take flight had its wings cut”.

Andrei Burnaz stood quietly during the service and wept occasionally. Her sister, Magda Toi, posted the following message on Facebook: “I miss your smile, I miss your voice, I miss you wherever you are,” she wrote.
After her death, her family and boyfriend described Andreea Cristea as “our shining ray of light that will forever keep on shining in our hearts.”
All the money raised on her behalf since the attack will be donated to charity, according to Burnaz.
