Kenneth Hagin is sharing his horrific experience near death. He says that it is not the first time when he faces death and the wish of Satan. But every time he felt his soul burned in hell, he called out for forgiveness and he prayed to God. Then, his soul knew peace again.
Reverend Kenneth Hagin thought that since he was born and raised as a Southern Baptist he would be granted access to Heaven just because of that. But at the age of 15, Kenneth had a near-death experience which resulted from a malformed heart – a condition he was born with.
During the time in which he was having this experience, Kenneth said that he went to hell and back which actually was the reason for his complete change of heart and the motif behind becoming a reverend to preach the word of God in the world.
Kenneth explains that his heart stopped beating and the numbness spread across his entire body and that after this he just leaped out of his body. He was completely conscious even though he was outside of his body and looking at everyone from above. He couldn’t contact his fami8ly members and then he started to descend into hell. It was a sort of well or cave and suddenly everything was dark around him. It got darker and darker and hotter and hotter. When he finally reached the bottom he saw huge flames burning and he felt as though he was being drawn to them as a magnet.

That’s when he saw a creature. “That creature, when I endeavored to slow down my descent, took me by the arm to escort me in. When he did, away above the blackness and the darkness a voice spoke. It sounded like a male voice, but I don’t know what he said. I don’t know whether it was God, Jesus, an angel or who. He did not speak in the English language: it was a foreign language. ” says Kenneth, according to near-death.com.
After the words were spoken he began to go back to the surface of the earth, and as he passed he met his dead grandmother who took him to his family. The boy said goodbye to his family and was prepared to be gone forever.

That’s when he realized that he wasn’t ready to go so he started talking to God and begging Him to help.
A miracle happened and he reentered his body and recovered from his illness. He decided that he never wanted to go back to hell again and that he would dedicate his life to Jesus Christ and the Church and made sure that everyone knew that hell was real. He wrote a book about his entire experience and preached the word of God his entire life. He lived a long and happy life, trying to make sure that he would never end up in hell again.
