VIDEO: This girl sings to her grandmother in touching video

A lot of people tend to forget about their grandparents as they grow older, as life’s challenges get in the way and it seems like you are running out of time. Nevertheless, this girl proves this belief wrong, as she took the time to sing to her grandmother and comfort her. Watch this video to see what true love between granddaughter and grandmother looks like.
According to faithtap.com, the Erway family was enjoying their visit with Great Grandma when Olivia was asked to sing. The young woman turned to her great grandmother and began to belt out the popular hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” in a truly angelic voice. But when the elderly woman (who is usually very quiet) started to sing along, everyone was totally shocked
Most people don’t know that “How Great Thou Art” was actually first written as a poem all the way back in 1885 in Sweden, by a man named Carl Gustav Boberg. Carl’s powerful words were passed around Europe, being translated into German and Russian along the way, before finally becoming a hymn! The tune made its way to the United States and, over the decades, it’s morphed into the version we are all familiar with today.
As Olivia and her great grandmother sing the words to this iconic hymn together, you can’t help but tear up. The love of Christ crosses all generations, races, backgrounds, as well as social and physical divides – and this adorable family duet is proof of that!
This teenage girl seems to have a wonderful career ahead of her if she ever decided that music is her one true passion and that she wants to pursue it. We don’t know whether or not she’s had any kind of vocal training but she sings like a true professional and there is no false note throughout the entire hymn.
We would love to hear from her again and hope that she decides to become a singer once she’s finished with her studies. Her grandmother will surely support her if she chooses to become a singer because she I completely in awe of her talent and seems like the kind of grandma that encourages you to do whatever makes you happy.
We hope that the grandma is in good health and that she would be able to be close to her granddaughter for a long time from now on. It’s really important to be close to your family and everyone would be happy to have them alive and doing well for as long as possible.
Most of the time people realize just how much they love and need their parents and grandparents after they are gone from this earth, but this teenager seems to have everything figured out. She was lucky enough to meet her grandmother and they even share a very special relationship that everyone would love to have with their family.
And the best part is that she seems to have a wonderful and meaningful relationship with God as well as she chose to sing a hymn dedicated to Jesus instead of any other song.
