VIDEO: Dog joins family prayer in hilarious fashion

Saying a prayer before eating is a common habit among people, but what about animals? This family sat at the table to have dinner and started saying their prayer when the family dog decided to join in a hilarious fashion. The dog saw the people around him doing the prayer gesture and it decided to mimic them, looking extremely cute and funny
For many families across the world, a family meal begins be bowing their heads and saying a prayer. For this family, it’s not just the humans who clasp their hands together.
In a hilarious and touching video, an unnamed family has just sat down. According to yourdailydish.com, the mother says, “Let us pray,” and everyone (except whoever is filming!) puts their hands together and bows their head. The camera pans across the table until we see the family dog is also sitting at the table. Adorably, the little guy pitches back on his hind legs and puts his front paws together in his own dog prayer.
We’ve all seen that cartoon movie when we were younger called “All dogs go to Heaven” and if you’re anything like us you’ve probably also thought about it and asked your parents if dogs really go to heaven. And if they do, do they have to pray and do they go to dog church and read a dog Bible? Obviously not.
But it seems that this one wants to make sure that he gets a spot in Heaven so he prays the human way too. We’re curious what the little guy is praying for. Is it health and happiness for him and his human family and dog friends or is it a juicy meal? We’ll never know. But the truth is we don’t really care we just enjoy this religious pup and the cuteness of the whole situation.
It seems that the family was quite used to this kind of behavior and that they already consider it to be normal and aren’t shocked by it at all. What is more, the dog is an important member of the family who has equal rights. This point is obvious once you realize that the dog is standing at the table, on a chair just like any other member of the family. We doubt that he has already learned how to use a spoon or a fork and knife, but we’re sure that he has pretty decent table manners, better than a lot of people actually.
A great thing about dogs that makes them much better pets than cats is that you can theoretically teach them anything if you try hard enough and really insist with what you want to teach them until it sticks. But once you’ve taught them something they will remember it forever and never hesitate to do it on your command.
