Rosamere Fernanda de Andrade was shocked when she saw her newborn baby girl. She thought that maybe someone had switched her at the maternity or that they were playing a trick on her. Both her and her husband are black, but the baby they were given was incredibly white, had blonde hair and blue eyes.
The doctors insisted that that was indeed her baby and this was proven when she had two more babies and they were all really white. That’s because they all had a rare genetic condition called albinism.
