Could Louis Theroux replace Theresa May? Thousands of people signed petition to make him the next PM
Louis Theroux is wanted by thousands of British people to become UK’s next Prime Minister. Here are their arguments for this proposal.
Louis Theroux, the man who become famous as one of UK’s most recognizable documentary filmmakers of recent decades, is in the top of preferences of thousands of disillusioned voters who are hoping the journalist’s expertise also extend to politics, Metro.co.uk reports.
As many voters feel, when forced to decide between the current party leaders, that they run out of choices, a pop-culture publication Konbini UK started a petition on change.org to make Louis Theroux the next prime minister, which was signed by more than 5,000 people.
‘As one of the most understanding, smart and trusted men in the UK, Mr Theroux (probably) has more skills to work out what is best for post-Brexit Britain than May, Farage and Corbyn combined,’ the petition argues.
‘And if he fails, at least he can make a bloody good film about it (or become leader of the opposition and fire some pretty great questions around the Houses of Parliament).’
