iPhone users will no longer need to type a Wi-Fi password
Apple is introducing a new Wi-Fi password-sharing feature in iOS 11 that is sure to make its users happy.
When somebody will want to connect to your home network, you’ll be able to get them connected with a single tap of a button. When an Apple device running iOS 11 tries to connect to your Wi-Fi for the first time, your Apple device – also running iOS 11 – will display a message saying „Share Your Wi-Fi”, according to the Independent.
If you want to proceed, you simply need to hit the „Send Password” button and the other person’s device will automatically connect to the network. In order for this to work, the devices need to be close to each other and unlocked.
ios 11 is set to arrive as a free update this autumn. However, not all Apple customers will be able to upgrade, as it won’t support the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5C and the fourth-generation iPad.
Although iOS 10 is currently the latest and greatest version of the software, it will stop receiving important security and performance updates from Apple once iOS 11 launches. This will leave users exposed to bugs and glitches.
