The most important festival in the region dedicated to digital technology and the Internet, Interactive Central and Eastern Europe Festival – iCEEfest, announced the agenda of the 2017 edition.

iCEE.fest expanded this year, using six stages, an outdoor area and 12 lines of content: Disruption, eHealth, VR&AR, Content, eCommerce, AdTech, Marcom, Smart Homes, Fin Tech, Creativity, Startups and Entertainment – live concerts, stand up comedy shows and special presentations.

Most global companies, including Google, Facebook, The New York Times, Shazam, Yahoo, Lad Bible and AOL will take part in the event.

Moreover, several speakers from various domains will be present on the stage of iCEE.fest 2017. These include Shafi Ahmed, the first surgeon to use virtual reality during an operation, Dave Birss, the creative that combines music and neuromarketing, Chris Skinner, a global expert in the technological impact in shaping the financial-banking system or Alex Khan – the most influential person on social media in Germany.

“Five years after launching the concept, the festival reached maturity, and this year we have an edition that is closest to what iCEE.fest wants to be as a project,” said founder Dragos Stanca.

Once this year’s agenda was launched, organisers announced several types of tickets as well, dedicated to certain professional categories or for only one of the festival days. These can be purchased from the official website iCEEEfest.com.

Students and pupils interested in the event benefit from 50% discount to all ticket categories. 10% of the money collected from ticket sales will be donated to the project ”Copăceni Tech House”, aimed at helping children with serious illnesses enjoy the latest technology.
