Amazing discovery regarding the soil on Mars
Researchers from University of California San Diego discovered that the soil on Mars is well-suited to brick-making, according to Yahoo News.
The scientists revealed that the soil is easily formed into bricks that don’t even need any special substance or heat to bake them, thus leading to a rigid structure.
The engineers at the university first tried to shape Mars soil into bricks using polymers. They gradually reduced the amount of additive used and they eventually realised that none would be required after all.

The pressure-made, iron-oxide rich bricks from Martian soil are, according to the paper, stronger than the steel-inforced concrete from which many buildings are made here on Earth, after they were subjected to some intense testing.
