Now that summer is approaching many are getting ready to hit the beach. Everyone will be putting on their bikinis and flip flops and travel to the beach to surf, soak up the sun or get their tan on. But unfortunately, a lot of people can’t afford to go to the Caribbean to get a divine experience so staying in the United States is an affordable alternative. The following beaches are all great destinations for those looking for a fun-in-the-sun type of adventure. Here they are in no particular order.
Miami Beach: Miami Beach is definitely a must see beach. The sand is like sugar at your feet and the water is clear and warm. Also, Miami Beach caters to both the younger party crowd and those just seeking relaxation. There are plenty of high-end boutiques to shop at, many choices when it comes to dining and fabulous hotels such as Fontainebleau, Hilton Cabana, Holiday Inn Miami Beach and Stanton just to name a few. Not to mention there are many different night clubs for those wanting to dance the night away after having a wonderful time at the beach.
Oahu, Honolulu: Oahu is the most visited island in Hawaii and it’s clear to see why. The state’s capital city, Honolulu, shows off the island’s urban appeal. Nearby you’ll find tons of cultural and historical sites. This beach is perfect for many different occasions such as a family vacation, a “baecation” or a honeymoon. Here is where you will find brilliant blue glistening water and hibiscus flowers.
Myrtle Beach: Myrtle Beach is one of the East Coast’s ultimate vacation spots. The town is oozing with summertime fun. In addition to having a lavish beach, there are amusement and water parks, restaurants and live entertainment. With its gentle waters, the beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, sailing and surfing.
Atlantic City: If you live in New England, Atlantic City is a perfect for a weekend getaway. Here is where you will find a boardwalk with all sorts of entertainment such as amusement park type rides, food stands, and souvenir shops. La Jolla, San Diego: La Jolla shores is a sandy beach that is about 1 mile long. With its gentle waves in the summer, this beach is great for the little ones in your family. La Jolla Shores is adjacent to the San Diego La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve. This is a busy beach for both families and surfers. This is also a popular location for scuba diving and kayaking. At night it’s alive with the luminous glow of many beach fires.
