5 Tips on how to have a great road trip
Many will be taking road trips this summer, here are some great tips
With the first official day of summer being less than two weeks away, many individuals are planning road trips. Whether your road trip is going to be a quick 2-3 hour trip or a 20-hour journey you want to enjoy every moment of it. Driving for a long amount of time can be difficult so here are five tips on how to make your next road trip a breeze.
Check your vehicle-Before you begin your trip, make sure your car has no problems and I mean none. Make sure everything works and that the check engine light is not on.
Clean your vehicle-No one wants to go on a trip in a filthy car. Before your trip head to the local car wash and get your car washed, detailed and vacuumed out. While you’re at it, throw in a nice air freshener as well. After all the sense that is tied closest to memory is smell, so when you repurchase it, it will remind you of your awesome trip.
Make a plan-Before you go on your trip, make sure you know what cities you will be stopping in. Also, make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep the night before your trip. Also, you don’t want to gorge on Red Bull or any other drink in an attempt to give you energy, instead try drinking a cup of green tea not only is it energizing it’s actually healthy.
Download your favorite songs-Let’s face it, you’re going to be in that car for a long time, you are going to need some type of entertainment. You can go to Spotify and create a playlist and bump it as you are driving and have a sing along with your passenger(s).
Bring snacks-This tip is vital. When you are driving for a long time, you want to bring snacks and plenty of water. You don’t want to drive while hungry because this can cause you to not concentrate. Or it can even make you feel sick to the point of passing out. Also eating out is very expensive. You don’t want to spend a lot of money on eating out because that is the same money that you could spend on sight-seeing or purchasing some dope souvenirs.
