Full Recap from the Barclays Center

Brooklyn, NY (Barclays Center) – After an exhilarating pay-per-view, Summerslam, Superstars gather at the Barclays Center for Monday Night Raw.

To start the night, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his Advocate Paul Heyman approached the address the WWE Universe. In a quick turn of events, they were interupted by none other than braun Strowman. After bombarding lesnar he leaves a beaten Lesnar lying in the ring while raising the Universal title over his head.

Big Cass vs. Enzo Amore (Brooklyn Street Fight)

In a rivalry between two former partners, both come to end this feud. Before the match Enzo speaks to cass about their 15 year history. They started their friendship 15 years ago in this city, but now their story was looking to end. Amore then moves on to bring forth a shopping cart full of weapons to face Cass. However, Cass was quick to come after Amoré. However in a stunning turn of events after Amoré had an upset on Cass, Cass was no longer able to compete due to sustaining an injury leaving Amoré the win.

Emma vs. Nia Jax

#giveemmaachance was introduced to the universe by Emma after she felt remorse for not being given her opportunity in the spotlight. While it did see some reaction by the fans, it was not read well with many of the female superstars including Nia Jax. The match ended very briefly as Nia dominated over Emma.

Elias Sampson vs. R-Truth

Elias destoys against r-truth in a very brief match. After being interupted by Truth, Elias felt he needed to shut his mouth.

John Cena returns to Monday Night Raw. In addition to coming back to the red brand, he felt it was necessary to come back against the Big Dog, Roman Reigns. Both superstars were ready to annihilate each other until they were interrupted by the intercontinental champion, The Miz. Miz was very upset to see them both back in the spotlight. This led to a special appearance by Samoa Joe. After Joe appeared at Barclays he came to put himself in the main event of the night. During his appearance he approached Cena, and then went on to assault him. During this time, all of the superstars involved went against each other. However it was all over after Reigns saved Cena from Joe’s coquina clutch.

Cruiserweight Division 8- man tag team match. Noam Dar, Ariyq Davairi, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese vs. Rich Swann, Gran Metalik, Mustafa Ali, and Cedric Alexander.

A real showcase of the cruiserweight division. This match had some of the top competitors. One of the real dominant forces of the match was Fan Favorite, Rich Swann. However it was Cedric Alexander who really stole the show with his high-flying moves. He went on to get the pin on Tony Nese.

Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins Celebrate winning the Tag Team Championship.

After reuniting, and winning the Tag Team Championship, Rollins & Ambrose were ready to fight anyone. Anyone answered by the name the Hardy Boyz. The Hardy Boyz then went on to request a match. Unfortunately for the Hardy Boyz, the new champions were ready for anything, and proved it by winning the match.

Alexa Bliss evokes her rematch after crashing Sasha Banks’ celebration.

While Banks was celebrating her championship win, she was interrupted by Bliss. Bliss then went on to evoke her rematch clause, and challenge Banks for the Title. The match is scheduled for Raw next week.

Jason Jordan vs. Finn Bálor.

Jason Jordan requested this match after speaking to his “father” Raw GM, Kurt Angle. However it seemed Jordan was in over his head when facing the leader of the Bálor Club. Bálor was just too much for Jordan to handle, and it was clear throughout the entire match.

Main Event: John Cena, and Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe, and The Miz

In the main event of the evening we see John Cena team up with Roman Reigns against Samoa Joe, and the Miz. This is a very interesting match due to the odd pairings of both tag teams. Throughout the entire match the Miz’ anger really got the best of him. It was to the point where he was stopped while trying to implement his skull crushing finale. He was then hit with the attitude adjustment that led to the loss of the match.
