All football (soccer) fans rejoice the day has finally arrived. The 26th season of Premier League started on Friday with the match between Arsenal and Leicester City (4-3).
The champions of the 2016/2017 season, Chelsea, also played this weekend and were certain contenders to recapturing the title, but in this league you never know. Thus, after being led by Burnley 3-0, Chelsea managed to get back and score, but not enough to equal even the score of the guests, losing the first Premier League match with a score 2-3 in front of the Burnley.
This summer saw several transfers of players such as: Wayne Rooney to Everton and John Terry to A.Villa to name a few. Outside of the Premier League Neymar Jr was had the highest transfer fee in the history of the game with a sum of over two hundred million dollars from Barcelona to Paris Saint Germain.
