This autonomous electric can be charged insanely fast. It only takes 9 minutes
Henrik Fisker is a legend in the automotive industry and he is now ready to compete against Elon Musk, according to Boy Genius Report.
He introduced on Twitter an electric car that will be a tough competitor for Tesla Model S. Called Fisker EMotion, the vehicle will have an autonomy of 400 miles (the equivalent of 643 kilometers), compared to the 350 miles (563 kilometers) offered by the Tesla model.
Moreover, the car will be completely charged in only 9 minutes, which is insanely fast. Fisker says that the car uses a technology developed by scientists from UCLA, which replaces the classic lithium-ion batteries for supercapacitors that use graphene. The technology is due to be patented soon.
Fisker’s EMotion will reach a top speed of 260 kilometers per hour.

The vehicle will also be capable of autonomous driving, but these abilities will not be activated until the official launch.
Other details such as pricing are not available at this moment. Since Tesla Model S costs at least $70,000, it is safe to say that its price will be similar.
Fisker started up in 2007 a company called Fisker Automotive, which produced an electric car called Fisker Karma between 2011 and 2012. It ceased production due to the bankruptcy of its battery producer. Later on, in 2014, its assets were taken over by Chinese holding Wanxiang Group, and the name of the company was changed to Karma Automotive.
