The Writing in the Sky this week foretells a week of love, art and beauty since Venus will transit through multiple aspects. First, Venus forms a trine with Saturn in the signs Aries and Sagittarius, respectfully, from May 30 to June 3. Venus is a sign of partnerships and combined with the responsibility of Saturn, expect to focus Venus’ fiery energy into work, discipline and accountability. Saturn will make tradition important to you during this time but fiery Venus also makes you want to try something new. You want to create new ways of doing things but still pay respect and appreciate the old ways of doing things.
From May 31 to June 5, Venus is conjunct Uranus in the fiery sign Aries. Uranus is all about out-of-the-ordinary and coupled with Venus, relationships can get more spontaneous with assertive and unusual ways of showing affection. Creativity also blossoms under this aspect since you see beauty in a new way. This is a time when artists create some of their most out-of-the-box work.

This past week, on May 24th and 25th, Venus formed a square with Pluto but the residual effects of this tough transit may still be lingering. When Venus and Pluto square, we can react one of two ways. First, we can find ourselves in a power struggle in relationships. We may continue a cycle of outdated ways of thinking which no longer serve us. Or, we could reflect on our reactions and triggers to grow out of our comfort zone which will improve and enhance relationships.

Malachite is a heart chakra crystal as well as the Stone of Transformation. It encourages you to take action to make changes where you need to, a useful quality for the Venus square Pluto transit. Its’ ability to help you open up to others is also useful for this transit. Malachite is also great for creativity, a useful quality for the Venus conjunct Uranus aspect. The practicality of the Venus trine Saturn aspect will also benefit from the practicality that malachite imparts. Overall, Malachite is a wonderful stone for any occasion but if you want to find some balance in this Venus-themed week, Malachite is the crystal for you!
