How many photos will people take on your wedding day
Most couples getting married choose to have a professional photographer at their wedding to make sure they have quality photos.
Besides the professionals, friends and family are sure going to take plenty of unsolicited snapshots. But do you know how many photos are taken on a wedding day?
According to new research from Mobiles.co.uk, three-quarters of wedding guests use their phones to take pictures of the bride and groom on their big day. Along with the wedding photographer’s photos, the total number of pictures adds up to 3,000 over the whole day.
Based on a wedding party of 100, that’s 28 pictures per guest, or one picture taken every six seconds.
Moreover, the survey found that a third of those photos are shared on social media.
Given that wedding photographers cost on average around £1,520, a couple could save money if they rely on the photos of their guests.
According to this research, recently married couples revealed that one third of the pictures their friends and family took on the day were of “excellent quality”, with 15 per cent requesting access to copies of their pictures.
The easiest way to track all the pictures taken would be employing a hashtag or asking the guests to upload pictures through an app such as WedPics.
